how could you resist tracking a baseball game that starts at 10am CDT? maybe that's just me.

on race day, the boston marathon homepage will be turned into an athlete tracking form, where you can view runner's splits as they cross various checkpoints along the course (usually in 5 to 10k intervals). watching data roll in is almost as much fun as watching a race in person.

oln is brilliant enough to rebroadcast the marathon at 5pm for all you workin' folk out there. but for those who need the fix, they'll broadcast full live coverage of the race midday. if anyone would be willing to tape/DVD this for me, i'd be much obliged... drop me a line if you can, and if i respond, you've got the job and a drink on me sometime in the near future.
